Expedition Overview
3 Days Mount Ololokwe and Samburu Safari is a 3 day journey focused on Mount Ololokwe. Hike Mount Ololokwe for a night on the plateau before discovering Samburu National Reserve on guided game drives. Each stage is designed around the distinctive landscapes and changes in altitude along this route, from the approach trail to the summit region or scenic turnaround point.

What should hikers prepare for on Ololokwe?
Mount Ololokwe combines a steep ascent, exposed rock and views over northern Kenya. Sun protection and adequate drinking water are especially important on the approach, while summit camping calls for insulation after sunset. Weather, trail condition and site permissions should be checked before departure.
