Detail

Save the Rhino Ultimate Safari will take you to the parks that care for the rhinos around Kenya. You will be able to learn how conservation is done, including tracking the rhinos.

Due to widespread poaching, humans have brought the species dangerously close to extinction since the turn of the 20th century. The populations of the remaining rhinos are growing in the sanctuaries, where they are concentrated and protected from poachers. In the future, rhinos from these vital breeding populations might be returned to where they once lived. Visit Wildlife Conservancies such as Lewa & Borana, where the rhinos are protected as part of the Save the Rhino Ultimate Safari.

Drive to Rhino Watch Safari Lodge in the central Kenyan highlands after breakfast. Check-in at the hotel, followed by lunch. Drive to Solio Ranch, a conservancy at the base of the Aberdare Mountains. You will be treated to unlimited game drives in search of animals, including rhinos. In Kenya, this private conservancy is home to most rhinos. It also has a wide range of additional wildlife. Because Solio is a reserve that few visitors visit, it is the greatest option for frequent travellers. RHINO WATCH SAFARI LODGE hosts dinner and overnight guests.

Day 5 - Full Day at Solio Ranch

We’ll go on morning and afternoon game drives at the Solio Game Reserve/Ranch during this entire day. The Solio Reserve is a great location for bird watching as well. If you want to stay at Solio Lodge, you can also participate in additional optional activities including horseback riding, bush walks, mountain biking, and night wildlife drives. A river that occasionally transforms into an area that resembles a swamp runs through the acacia forest in the centre of the reserve. For birds, this area is a haven. The wildlife reserve is home to around 300 species, including European rollers, flycatchers, and raptors like vultures and eagle owls.

Day 6 - Solio to Lewa Conservancy

Drive to Lewa Wildlife Conservancy to check into your camp after breakfast. You will have lunch at the Camp.   Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is well-known wildlife conservation that sprawls across the undulating plains north of Mount Kenya. It is well-liked by celebrities, environmentalists, authors, and photographers. The Wildlife Conservancy is home to the highest density of Grevy’s zebra in the world, over 130 Black and White rhinos, and a variety of avian species. Go on as many game drives as you want in the afternoon to look for animals, including rhinos.  Dinner and Overnight at LEWA SAFARI CAMP.

Day 7 - Full Day at Lewa Conservancy

As you take in the diversity of the Park’s species and the vast savannah, you will start out just before sunrise in quest of game. The game viewing is exceptional, with many black rhinoceros, buffalo, the endangered Grevy Zebra, and local predators, all set against stunning views of the snow-capped Mt. Kenya. You will have plenty of downtime in between your morning and afternoon game drives to unwind and take in the surroundings at your opulent tented camp. Spend the night in the Lewa Safari Camp.

SARUNI RHINO LODGE provides all meals and lodging.

Day 10 - Sera Community Conservancy to Olpajeta Conservancy

Drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy after breakfast in order to reach Sweetwaters Tented Camp in time for lunch. Chimpanzees can only be found in this area of Kenya. The British researcher Jane Goodall brought orphaned chimpanzees to Kenya in order to preserve the otherwise threatened species, and Sweetwaters is now their home. Animals are present in the Reserve in large numbers compared to its size. There are elephants, buffalo, and endangered rhinos. After lunch, continue on unlimited afternoon wildlife drives throughout the ranch, which may include a stop at the Chimpanzee Sanctuary. At SWEETWATERS SERENA CAMP, there will be dinner and overnight.

Day 11 - Full Day at Olpajeta Conservancy

Today, we will have two lengthy game drives through the unique Sweetwater’s Sanctuary. Additionally, our camp offers elephants, giraffes, and a wide variety of plains species and overlooks one of the busiest waterholes in the region. When Teddy Roosevelt oversaw one of the first safaris to go through Africa in luxury and magnificence years ago, this is how he viewed it. At Sweetwater’s, our tents will serve as a reminder of that time.

Day 12 - Olpajeta to Nairobi

You will eat a sumptuous breakfast following an early-morning game drive before returning to Nairobi. Upon arrival, we will drop you off at the hotel of your choice or at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your subsequent international journey back home.
